History:
Endeavor Lodge No. 17 was established in Milton, Delaware in June 1848 as part of the growing network of Masonic lodges in the United States. It was formally incorporated by an act of the Delaware legislature, giving it legal status and allowing it to operate as an official organization. Over time, the lodge became an important part of the local community, supporting fellowship, charitable work, and Masonic traditions. The lodge was founded during a time when fraternal organizations were growing rapidly across the United States. As a Masonic lodge, it followed the traditions of brotherhood, moral development, and community service. Members often played active roles in Milton’s civic and social life, contributing to local events and charitable efforts. Today, Endeavor Lodge No. 17 remains a reflection of the town’s historical commitment to fellowship and service.
